Specific Types of Knee Pain

Knee is the major joint in our body it provides firmness and elasticity to our body. We need very strong and healthy knees for many activities we perform and for sports. Knees let your legs to straight and turned. As knees provide support to our body and support our body weight. There are many knee problems and they arise in all age group people. Some knee problems are acute and some are long term but all the problems occur from the knee joint itself.



Some common knee pains are as follows

Fractures:  fracture bones means broken bones, fracture of knee bones are painful damage and it is mainly caused by high forces like sports or any other accident. Its symptoms are staining or swelling and is very painful even a person cannot walk or place weight on his knee.

Sprained and torn collateral ligament: it is the most common knee injury and like other ligament it is sprained and torn. Torn is a complete cracked and sprained is an incomplete cracked of ligaments.

Sprained and torn cruciate ligament: it is the most important sports injury and is caused by the tough stop and aggressive twisting of the knee.

Knee dislocation: dislocation of the knee is a very serious injury and is very unusual. It is caused by a great rage to the knee.

Dislocated kneecap: it is caused by the direct shock or flattening of the leg. This knee injury is mainly caused in tennis or volleyball games and is more common in women.

Arthritis: it is the inflammation of the knee and is very hurting. It further causes other knee diseases like osteoarthritis which is caused by the deterioration of cartilage in knees.

Bursitis: it is due to the shock, injury and crystalline drop, the different bursae of the knee may be ignited.
